WHAT IS FENG SHUI?
Feng Shui (pronounced “foong shway”) is the combination of two Chinese words meaning "wind & water" - these are the two natural elements that have the most influence on our lives, within our homes and workplaces but also life itself. Wind and water are direct carriers of ‘Life Force Energy’.
Wind is the very air we breathe to keep us alive and it’s air/wind that moves the Life Force Energy, also known as ‘Chi”, through our homes. Water also keeps us alive and the placement of water in our homes affects the flow of Life Force Energy - in the wrong place, water can actually stop the energy/chi from moving at all.
Feng Shui is more of a science than an art because it works directly with the ‘environmental energy’ around your home. Life Force Energy needs to flow freely, gently and without restriction through our homes. Unfortunately, this is not always the case and many people don’t actually know that environmental energy influences them, or that it even exists.
Within a home, each individual has a ‘personal area’ from which they draw their Life Force Energy from on a daily basis. Personal areas need to be clear and unrestricted so using the Lo-Pan Compass Wendy identifies where those areas are for all members of the family, as well as how freely the energy is, or is not flowing through them.
A blockage in the flow of personal energy could be contributing to issues in many aspects of your life - relationships, parenting, children’s behaviour, career opportunities, health problems, motivation and goal setting for the future.
Feng Shui offers a unique way of looking at yourself and your environment. It provides a way of bringing balance, comfort, and harmony into your environment in a way that is difficult to achieve by any other means.
WHAT IS A FENG SHUI CONSULTATION?
Wendy will visit your home and do a ‘reading’ to assess all the environmental energy around you. We offer individual and family consults depending on who lives in the home, as well as commercial and business consultations.
The consultation includes analysis of:
• Personal areas - for everyone living in the home
• Fire - placement of fires, heaters, ovens and all things fire-related
• Chi flow - fine tuning and harnessing energy coming in and flowing freely through your property
• Furniture placement – beds, lounges, desks ect
A consultation requires Wendy to be with you, in your home, for up to 3 hours (depending on size and complexity of the property).
Together we will identify any issues and Wendy will provide options and solutions to positively manipulate the flow of chi in your home. Blockages and restrictions will be identified and enhancements made when required, so no-one in the family is compromised. Generally the changes you need to make are subtle and can be made using every-day items such as plants, crystals and statues.

Wendy also practices personalised Feng Shui, meaning each member of the household’s date of birth is used to ensure everyone has access to the full benefits of the consultation – accessing ‘Life Force Energy’!
